200th Broadband Connection Point in the country launched in Co Monaghan

A number of connection points across the county were marked today, including at the Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre.

The 200th Broadband Connection Point in the country has been launched in Monaghan.

Rural development Minister Heather Humphreys and representatives of National Broadband Ireland were in Drumhowan for the launch earlier.

Speaking at the launch, Minister Humphreys said the points will mean a massive difference for people across the region and country.

A number of connection points across the county were marked today, with the Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre outside Cootehill among them.

Speaking after officially launching the 200th connection point in Drumhowan, Rural and Community Development Minister Heather Humphreys said while they're only the start of the connection, the points will make a difference for people:
