22 patients waiting on a bed at Cavan General Hospital

704 patients are waiting for a bed in hospitals across the country with 22 patients waiting on a bed at Cavan General Hospital.

The INMO has called on the Government to develop a year-round plan to tackle the overcrowding crisis.

It adds that "this level of overcrowding must not be allowed to continue further into the year."

15 people are on trolleys at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda while no one is waiting on a bed at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan.
