A 60-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the attempted murder of Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell in Co Tyrone last month. The PSNI says the man was detained following a search of a property in Belfast.
He's being held under the Terrorism Act, and is the fourteenth person to be arrested in relation to the shooting in Omagh. Nobody has yet been charged with the shooting, and DCI Caldwell remains in hospital in a serious condition.
