There are 8,883 people in the region receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment this week.
Nationally 350,000 people will share the €103.8 million being paid out an increase from 99 million last week.
The sector with the highest number of people in receipt of the PUP is Accommodation and Food Service Activities, followed by Wholesale and Retail Trade.

In Cavan there are 4,719 people in receipt of the payment an increase of 60 from the 10th of November.
While in Monaghan there are 4164 up 128 from the same date.
Despite the increases however, Minister for Social Protection and local TD, Heather Humphreys says it is heartening to see the increases of those claiming the PUP reduce this week.
