The Cavan Enterprise Awards 2022 took place at the weekend and Ann Rudden, master Chocolatier, and founder of Aine’s Handmade Chocolate in Stradone, is this year’s Overall Winner.
Aine’s Handmade Chocolate will now represent Local Enterprise Office Cavan at the 22nd National Enterprise Awards at the Mansion House in Dublin on the 2nd of June.
Other winners on the night included Matt Fitzgerald and Garrett Rothwell of Arch-I Modular Solutions Ltd who won the Best Start Up Business Award.
Meanwhile, the Enterprise Innovation Award went to Malanaphy Machinery Ltd based in West Cavan.
And, the Digital Innovation Award went to EDAC Environmental Compliance Ltd, Garreth Tackney.
The National Enterprise Awards is one of a number of initiatives that the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) run to foster entrepreneurship across the country.
Others include Local Enterprise Week, the Student Enterprise Programme and National Women’s Enterprise Day.
Established in 2014, LEOs are an essential resource for any entrepreneur looking to start a business or any small business that is looking for support or advice to help them grow.
