Sunday, 24th January peacefully at home in the care of his loving wife, Anna, and family, after a short illness bravely borne.
Cherished and adored father of Beatrice, Micheal (Geraldine), Noeleen (Declan), Madeline (Sean), Dorothy (John), Patricia (Barry), Ali (Anne), John Paul (Colette), and Brenda (Mark), grandchildren Laura, Aisling, Declan Jnr., Ciaran, Colleen, John Finbar, Liam, Doireann, Sean Seamus, Emma Jane, Aileen, Niamh, Aoibhin, Roisin, Anna, Patrick and Niall, and his great granddaughters Muireann and Meidhbin, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Alphonsus' funeral cortège will travel from the family home at approximately 10.30 am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning. Due to COVID19 Government Restriction, this Mass will be private to family and restricted to 10 people. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver's Cemetery. The family would ask those who wish to pay their respects please adhere to HSE guidelines and maintain 2m social distance. Family flowers only. House strictly private please.
