A bulky goods drop off day is taking place in Cavan as part of the Local Authority's anti-dumping initiative.
The service is for domestic households only, and not for commercial use.
A disposal fee of five euro per vehicle and trailer will apply and normal charges apply for all other waste items presented.

Items that will be accepted include upholstered furniture, such as couches and armchairs, bedroom furniture, including wardrobes and beds, and kitchen furniture, such as dining chairs and tables.
Hard Plastics, like toys, garden furniture, and storage containers, will also be accepted.
These bulky goods will be accepted until 12.30 pm at the Corranure Civic Amenity Centre.
