Gardai in Co Cavan are appealing for information following a number of burglaries which have taken place across the county.
Garda Lisa Stevens is appealing to anyone with information in relation to the burglaries which took place in Cootehill, Killeshandra, Bailieboro and Cavan to come forward.
Gardai are investigating a burglary which occurred in Cootehill.
The incident occurred between the hours of 1:30pm and 4pm on the 5th of June on Station Road, Cootehill.
The homeowner left home shortly before 1:30pm and on their return noticed that their dogs were out and the home was ransacked.
Entry was gained through the rear door of the property.
Gardaí would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious persons on Station Road.
Elsewhere in Cappagh, Killeshandra a burglary took place between 2pm on the 8th of June and 3pm on the 15th of June.
The homeowner returned to find bedrooms had been disturbed in the property and jewellery and documents stolen.
A burglary was also reported at the Willows, Bailieboro on the 15th of June.
The homeowner left the property at 3pm and on return at 7:30pm was informed by a family member that the rear door was forced open.
The culprits did not enter the property, however caused significant damage.
In a separate incident, Gardai are investigating a burglary which occurred in Cavan also on the 15th of June.
The incident occurred between the hours of 2pm and 6pm in Crosserlough, Killnaleck.
The homeowner returned to find her home ransacked.
Entry and exit was gained via the front window.
