The Committee of Ballybay Mart has confirmed this afternoon that the Mart has ceased trading as a result of the temporary suspension of the licence provided by the Property Services Regulatory Authority.
An interim manager is currently in place and the Committee will endeavour to work closely with the PSRA to provide a resolution to the matter.
A spokesperson said that it is the mart’s intention that all cheques will be honoured once the suspension has been lifted.
