The Cathaoirleach of Ballyjamesduff Municipal District, Shane P O'Reilly, presented 'The Venerable Canon Craig McCauley' and his wife Vida with a framed painting of Lurgan Parish Church on Friday.
The presentation was in honour of his "hard work" and dedication to the Parish as he leaves for his new post in Kildare.
Local artist Jim McPartlin created the work of art. Shane P O'Reilly presented it at the Ballyjamesduff Municipal District meeting. It was held recently for the first time at Virginia Church of Ireland Parish Hall. Members of the local authority who were in attendance also expressed their thanks to Canon Craig McCauley for the work he has done throughout his time in Co Cavan.
