The Municipal District of Carrickmacross and Castleblayney will open a Book of Condolences in memory of the five young people who tragically lost their lives in the Dundalk collision.
Members of the public will be able to sign the books from 11am this morning at Carrickmacross Civic Offices (A81 HY83) or at Castleblayney Library (A75 V383).
Meanwhile, a prayer service for those who were killed in the fatal collision near Dundalk on Saturday night was held in St. Patrick's Church in upper Magheracloone yesterday evening.
The mass was held for local man Shay Duffy and his four friends who lost their lives in the car accident that occurred before 9pm last Saturday night on the Ardee Rd in Dundalk.
Hundreds of people also took part in a vigil last night to remember the five young people.
Three separate vigils were arranged in Ardee, Drumconrath and Aughnamullen to pay tribute to the five friends.
The victims in the collision were: Chloe McGee, 23 from Carrickmacross and Shay Duffy, 21, from Magheracloone; Alan McCluskey, 23, from Drumconrath; Dylan Commins, 23, from Ardee; and Chloe Hipson, 21, from Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Fr Owen Gorman, parish priest for Aughnamullen led prayers at the vigil that was attended by hundreds at the local GAA grounds.
