Books of Condolence for Creeslough victims to open across Monaghan tomorrow

A book of Condolence opened at Cavan Court House to remember the 10 people who died in Cresslough on Friday.

In Monaghan Books of Condolence will open tomorrow morning at the Municipal District offices in Carrickmacross, Clones and the Glen Road in Monaghan town.

Border Communities Against Brexit has expressed its deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who died.

Describing the incident as "an awful tragedy", Tom Murray from Donegal said the thoughts and and prayers of everyone were with the people of Creeslough.

Mr Murray also paid tribute to the emergency services across the Island of Ireland, which, he added "acted with heroism and outstanding effort".
