Candlelit vigil to take place in memory of Chloe McGee

Aughnamullen GAA and LGFA are asking people to come along and show their support to Chloe’s family and friends at this tragic time.

A candlelit vigil will take place at Aughnamullen football pitch tomorrow night in memory of Chloe McGee.

Five young people, including two Co Monaghan natives, lost their lives in Co Louth on Saturday night.

The victims were Chloe McGee from Carrickmacross , Alan McCluskey from Drumconrath, Dylan Commins from Ardee who were all aged 23, and Shay Duffy from Carrickmacross and Chloe Hipson from Scotland both were age 21.

In a statement posted online, Aughnamullen GAA and LGFA said with the permission of the McGee family, Aughnamullen GAA are holding a candlelight vigil for the late Chloe McGee.

The vigil will take place tomorrow night at 7pm. Those attending the vigil are asked to bring a candle.
