Car stolen from Belturbet on Saturday morning

Gardaí in Cavan are investigating the theft of a vehicle in Belturbet on Saturday.

The grey Volvo XC60 estate 171 Cavan resignation was taken between 1.30 am and 7am yesterday morning from the Bank Lane area of the town.

Also in Belturbet a car was broken into during the same night and some personal items were taken from the car that was parked in the Morrissey Park area of the town.

Investigations are ongoing in both incidents and gardai are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with them at Cavan Garda Station on 049 4331300.
