Out of Hours GP services will be in available in West Cavan through Caredoc and NoWDOC over this bank holiday weekend.
The service has been opened from 6pm yesterday and will run until 8am on Tuesday October 31st. With high attendance numbers expected across local Emergency Departments, the HSE is asking people to consider other methods of care including their GP's, pharmacists and out of hours services. Dermot Monaghan is the Chief Officer of Community Healthcare in Cavan and Monaghan. Speaking to Northern Sound, he is urging people to consider all pathways of care this weekend before attending at ED's.
