Cavan has been named as one of the best counties in Ireland for learner drivers.
That's according to a study by 123.ie insurance which ranked Cavan third in the country for learning to drive, scoring 559.6 out of 600.
The research complied figures from the RSA and CSO, looking at pass rates waiting time and road safety data.
More than 3,500 tests were delivered in Cavan in 2025, with an average waiting time of just four weeks and a pass rate of 51 per cent.
Researchers say the county's mix of rural routes and busier roads gives learners valuable experience before test day
