Business and personal customers of every banking institution are being made aware of ever-more sophisticated scams by fraudsters attempting to steal your money. Just recently, Cavan Credit Union issued a warning to its customers to be aware of a particularly convincing telephone scam. In this instance, the scammers claim to be calling from the Credit Union Card Security team. What is even more alarming is the fact that the person on the other end of the phone will already have your name and the first four digits of your card number.
