A talented Virginia dancer has been selected for the Irish National Youth
Ballet Christmas production of The Nutcracker
Eleven-year-old Sofia Giusti is part of an all-island troupe of 45 dancers,
11 of whom are male, and ranging in age from nine to 18 years.
Sofia will play Clara in the production and is trained by the Nicola Fracas
School of Ballet.

She was accepted into INYB when she was just nine years old, which is a year
younger than most.
Artistic Director of INYB, Lindsay Ashe-Browne, said the performance level
is akin to elite athletics and the dancers, are highly trained.
Meanwhile, the show runs from the 8th to the 10th of December at The Helix
in Dublin.
