Cavan General Hospital has issued its second warning to the public this week.
The renewed alert is in relation to the hospital experiencing "high levels" of attendances and admissions.
As a result, people across the Northern Sound region are advised that "delays" and "limited bed capacity" can be expected.

In addition to this, the hospital has asked all patients to seek 'alternative' options as opposed to Emergency Department referrals.
Cavan General Hospital has thanked the public for its "co-operation" at this time.
