A Cavan man is celebrating his 79th birthday by embarking on a 20km cycle on a 1960s bike in aid of Virginia Cancer Fund.
Greg O'Reilly's cycle will begin today at 11am in Fartagh and he will do three laps between Fartagh and Mullagh.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for the fundraising effort, and donations can also be made to JTS Hardware Mullagh or Virginia Credit Union.

Greg has lost several close family members to cancer and he has also battled prostate cancer himself.
He's received donations from right across the globe and speaking to Northern Sound, Greg outlined the route he will be taking today:
