Cavan native Kevin McGahern is set to join Dancing with the Stars that begins tonight on RTE television.
Comedian and Cavan native, Kevin McGahern, was the final celebrity selected to join Dancing with the Stars which returns for another season tonight.
Its the first time in three years that the show will have a live audience due to previous Covid-19 restrictions.
A comedian, writer, actor and television presenter from Gowna, his career extended into television and presenting programmes including Republic of Telly and Clear History after several years of doing stand-up.
In 2017, McGahern hosted his own documentary series 'Kevin McGahern's America'.
Ahead of tonight's first episode McGahern said that It's a very different world to what he's used to but he intends to put his best food forward regardless of the outcome.
Kevin McGahern will take to the dancefloor alongside Marie Cassidy, Panti Bliss, Suzanne Jackson, Paul Brogan, Brooke Scullion, Shane Byrne, Damian McGinty, Stephanie Roche, Carl Mullan and Leah O' Rourke.
The RTÉ One show begins at 6.30pm and will be presented by Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy.
