Management and staff from the Centra store in Ballinagh are celebrating success after winning a national award in recent days.
The local convenience store won Musgrave Food Safety Awards at a ceremony that was held in the Killashee Hotel in Naas.
The Cavan store was among five SuperValu stores and five Centra stores that were recognised at the awards for their outstanding commitment to excellence in food safety.
The awards recognise Musgrave retailers who have shown ongoing commitment, and consistently high standards of leadership in food safety.
The stores proprietor said it's great to be recognised on a national platform and he thanks his committed members of staff for having such high standards to allow for this award to be bestowed on them.
