CMETB elects new chairperson

They succeed the outgoing chair and deputy chair of Sean Fegan and April Anna Barker.

CMETB has elected a new chairperson.

Following yesterday’s meeting, Sinn Fein Councillor Colm Carthy has been elected the new chair of the education and training board.

He’ll be supported by Fine Gael’s Carmel Brady who is the new deputy chairperson.

They succeed the outgoing chair and deputy chair of Sean Fegan and April Anna Barker.

Also at yesterday’s meeting, CE of the board John Kearney presented the five year strategy for CMETB, with updates also given on projects at Ballybay Community College and Beech Hill College.
