A Conroy Gold partnership could see €7 million put towards the advancement of the Clontibret gold deposit mine.

Head of terms have been signed for a joint venture with Anglo Asian Mining, a London-based company with a broad portfolio in Azerbaijan.

The proposal will see Anglo Asian Mining spend a minimum of €4 million in order to bring the gold deposit at Clontibret to fully permitted mine status.

Richard Conroy, the Chair of Conway Gold, hailed the joint venture as a "very significant step forward as we move to develop a gold mine at Clontibret".
