Covid funding will "offer buffer zone" to keep local organisations open

The funding for the 12 organisations range from €2,000-€95,000

Covid funding announced for local organisations will "offer a buffer zone" to allow them to keep going into the future.

That's according to the Chair of Bailieborough Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre, which received the biggest allocation locally at €95,000.

Six organisations apiece across Cavan and Monaghan are set to benefit from funding of over €225,000, which is aimed at groups that have suffered as a result of the pandemic.

The funding ranges from €2,000-€95,000 and a full breakdown of the funding can be found here. 

Bailieborough Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre is the biggest local recipient, with a grant of €95,000 grant.
