A crisis meeting is taking place later today between health officials and public representatives in Limerick over a recent spike in Covid-19 cases.

The Chief Medical Officer's concerned about the 'significant increase' in cases of covid 19 in Limerick, with incidence rate of 411 cases per 100 thousand people in the past two weeks.

Tony Holohan says it's extremely important everyone in the region continues to stick to the public health advice.
