The manager of Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Geopark is attending a Shared Island Forum meeting hosted by the Taoiseach this morning Gráinne O'Connor has been invited as a panel speaker at the event, which, will be attended by over 250 political, civic, community and economic stakeholders from across the island of Ireland.
Earlier this year, Cuilcagh Lakjelands Geopark was allocated funding from the Government's €50 million Shared Island Fund for sustainable tourism projects. Today, Micheál Martin will announce a new phase of the Government's Shared Island Initiative today on the 27th anniversary of the signing of the Good Friday Agreement.
In a statement, the Taoiseach said he "will look ahead to the next phase of building a shared future together on the island of Ireland."
