Nine counties, including Cavan and Monaghan, have no refuges.

Women and children could be killed or seriously injured, due to a lack of domestic violence services.

That's according to Safe Ireland, which is appearing before the Oireachtas justice committee today.

It will say services are 'critically deficient' - as nine counties, including Cavan and Monaghan, have no refuges.
