Gardaí who stopped a driver near Monaghan on bank holiday Monday for driving at excess speed discovered the driver had also committed a litany of motoring offences.
An Garda Siochna's mobility device could also tell officers the driver was also uninsured. The driver had come to the attention of the garda patrol for driving at excess speed on the Clones Road outside Monaghan Town.
It also transpired the driver had no licence and the tested positive for cannabis. Further samples were obtained after arrest and the car was also taken off the road.
