DSPCA issues 'chilly' warning to pet owners

The charity says even animals that are usually accustomed to being outside, should be brought inside.

The DSPCA is warning pet owners long exposure to the cold can lead to pet hypothermia.

The charity says even animals that are usually accustomed to being outside, should be brought inside.

It's advising keeping anti-freeze out of access to cats and dogs as it is extremely 'toxic'.

Elise O'Bryne White, Veterinary Director at the DSPCA, also advices people to check under their engines, during the cold spell.
