Extension to Castleblayney National School given the go-ahead

A national school in Castleblayney has been approved for a new mainstream classroom and a special education room.

Scoil Mhuire, Boys National School were given the funding go ahead by Minister Norma Foley in recent days.

Principal James Lacey and all of the Board of Management at the County Monaghan School have welcomed the education minister's announcement.

They say they are looking forward to bringing the new facilities to their pupils in the very near future.
