IFA members are at Aldi and Lidl seeking a 2c increase per egg.

Farmers say they'll stay outside supermarkets in Cavan until real changes are made.

IFA is holding protests outside Aldi and Lidl in Cavan town in a call for increases in the prices paid for products.

Egg producers are asking for two cent to paid on every egg, as they face the prospect of becoming loss makers in the face of rising input costs.
