Funding boost to benefit women's projects across County Monaghan

A range of women's projects across Co Monaghan are set to benefit from a substantial funding boost.
Monaghan LCDC recently approved funding of €22,480 to 16 women's projects across the county.
96 applications worth €108 thousand were also approved under the general fund in the Local Enhancement Programme.

According to Monaghan County Council, these recommendations will now be sent on to the Department of Rural and Community Development for the Minister's consideration.
It is hoped that the groups will be informed of the outcome before the end of April.
