Gardaí in Bailieborough have made an appeal to motorists regarding the return of the Virginia Show in Co Cavan today.
Large crowds are expected, as the show makes its long awaited return for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
As a result, local Gardaí advised that there will be no parking on the Main Street or in the vicinity of the showgrounds.

Instead, motorists are asked to use the designated carparks which will be signposted on the approach road as this will benefit people leaving the event also.
Gardaí have also reminded people to not leave any valuables in their vehicles.
