A woman was found looking in the windows of houses in the Newbliss area yesterday evening.
She was approached and asked what she was doing but gave no reason for being in the area and left in a silver car.
Gardai are advising people in the area to remain vigilant and report any sightings to Monaghan Garda Station.

Meanwhile, Gardai in Belturbet are investigating the theft of an electric scooter from the boot of a car on Friday the 18th of February last.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of the Diamond between 7pm and 10pm.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact Gardai in Belturbet.
