Gardaí are continuing to investigate all the circumstances around the discovery of a man's body outside a hotel near Carrickmacross last week. On Tuesday the 1st of November the body of a 25 year old was found on the grounds near the entrance of the M Hotel, formerly known as Treacy's Hotel with suspicious injuries to his head.
The 25-year-old originally from Nigeria arrived to the hotel seven days earlier. The hotel, which is being used as a direct provision centre for asylum seekers, is situated 5km outside Carrickmacross.
It's understood it provides 35 rooms for up to 124 asylum seekers. Gardaí have confirmed to Northern Sound News that their investigation is continuing following the discovery of a man's body outside the M Hotel.
