Gardai in Cavan are appealing for the public's assistance after a number of criminal damage and theft incidents over the last few days.
Two parked cars were damaged on Saturday 22nd of January last in the county town.
A silver Golf at the rear of St Brigid's Terrace had it windows smashed in between 1pm and 7:30pm while the back window of blue Renault Megane, parked at Castlegate Apartments, Townspark, was damaged between 8:30am and 4:30pm.

Meanwhile, in Ballyconnell, Gardai are investigating after a quantity of telephone cable was stolen in the townsland of Lisnamaine, Milltown.
The theft occurred over the night of Thursday 20th into Friday the 21st January.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity in or around the Belturbet to Milltown road over that night is asked to contact Ballyconnell Gardai on 049 9525580.
Gardai are also advising the public to remain vigilant to this type of activity late at night and to report anything suspicious they might come across.
