Gardaí are investigating the theft of cash from a Cavan church.
On Monday, the candelabra at St Brigid's Church in Mountnugent was forced open with the proceeds taken from it.
Gardaí estimate that €50 in coins was taken in the incident.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious between 8.30 in the morning and 7.30 in the evening, or who would have information that would identify those responsible is asked to contact Cavan Garda Station.
