GoFundMe page set up to bring terminally ill Monaghan man home

The page has only been set up in the past 24 hours and amassed $120,000.

$120,000 has been raised so far to assist with bringing home a Co Monaghan man from Australia who is facing a serious illness.
Emyvale native  Jonathan Duffy has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer which is terminal.

He is currently being cared for at home by his brother who has flown over from Ireland two months ago.
Jonathan has lost the movement in his right arm and his right eye. He is currently on lots of medication.

His family have decided to fly him back to Ireland to spend out his last weeks or months with his family.

The airline has refused to let him fly without a medical assistant .
They set up a go fund me page to help pay for flight costs, medication and palliative care.

On a post on Facebook, Emyvale GAA said that their club community is being asked to support a former Emyvale player and his family at a very difficult time.
