Two top officials have resigned.

The Department of Health insists the government is more committed than ever to the Slaintecare programme.

Two top officials have resigned - executive director Laura Magahy and chairperson of the implementation advisory council, Tom Keane.

He says the requirements for implementing the plan, which promises free GP care and universal healthcare, are "seriously lacking".
