The State's weather response team's due to meet this afternoon to discuss preparation.

Gusts of up to 110 kilometers per hour are expected in parts today as Storm Dudley passes over the north of the country.

A Status Yellow Wind Warning takes effect across Ireland from midday for 24 hours.

Met Eireann says the worst of the winds will be along exposed coasts and on high ground, while coastal flooding's also likely.
