A dental practice in Kells that was inspected recently by HIQA was deemed to be compliant in all areas. Reva Dental was established in 2002 and was acquired by Dental Care Ireland in April 2022.
Reva Dental has two general dentists, a visiting endodontist and two dental hygienists. HIQA said the inspection was carried out to assess compliance with the EU basic safety standards for protection against dangers arising from medical exposure to ionising radiation regulations.
The health authority added that Medical Physical Experts were appropriately involved for consultation and advice on matters relating to radiation protection at the dental practice.
