The Hotel Kilmore in Cavan is winner of the Hotel venue of the Year for Ulster at the 15th annual WeddingsOnline awards. According to WeddingsOnline, the awards, was set up to recognise excellence within the wedding sector and to "reward those businesses that stand out from the crowd."
The accredited four-star family-run Hotel Kilmore has been a favourite wedding venue for people from the Northern Sound region and beyond for decades. The popular hotel says the management and staff at the Kilmore pride themselves on "excellent food, warm hospitality and impeccable service."
The WeddingsOnline awards is an industry wide competition, open to all. The Kilmore now join a list of prestigious winners in this year's awards including Ashford Castle who won in Connaught, Barberstown Castle and the Tulfarris Golf and Resort. A Facebook post announcing their win by the Kilmore simply says 'We did it!'.
