Seven new modular classrooms approved for St Mogue's College in Bawnboy are being installed with minimum disruption to school life.
The Department of Education approved significant additional accommodation for the Cavan school in recent months but by the time students and staff came back from their Christmas break, phase 1 of the development was in situ. The total modular accommodation provided to the secondary school includes specialist classrooms. St Mogue's teacher and County Councillor Áine Smith said the extra room was needed as the enrolment numbers for St Mogue's has been increasing year on year.
