Killeevan National School will celebrate its 50th anniversary tomorrow. To coincide with the milestone event, members of the Killeevan National School Jubilee Committee have organised a fundraising initiative to coincide with the school's 50 year anniversary.
The campaign was launched to raise essential funds for the school's development and to complete much-needed upgrades that will serve the community for many more years to come. A mass will take place at St Laebhan's Church at 1pm followed by celebrations at the school.
Patrick McDonald is a member of the Killeevan National School Jubilee Committee. Speaking to Northern Sound, Patrick said that tomorrow is all about celebrating all the years of "education, learning, fun and friendships."
