A man has been charged with drug related offences after the search of a property in Co Monaghan. The man aged in his 30s was arrested at the scene and later charged.
As part of Operation Tara, Monaghan Gardaí accompanied by members of both the Detective Branch and the Armed Support Unit searched a premises under warrant.
According to local Gardaí, the search took place at a property in the townland area of Dunraymond, near Monaghan town. A grow house was discovered containing a large quantity of cannabis plants at various stages of growth.

One male in his early 30's was arrested and detained for questioning. He was subsequently charged with drug related offences and has appeared at the Criminal Courts of Justice in relation to the offence.
