The 83rd Virginia Show has been launched today and the annual event will be taking place on Wednesday, 19th August.
The event is set to bring together the very best of Irish agriculture, rural enterprise, community spirit, and family entertainment.
Recognised as one of Ireland's leading agricultural shows, Virginia Show continues to grow in strength.
The theme for this year's show, "Harvesting the future together-where Urban meets Rural," highlights the enduring importance of rural communities and the interconnectedness and interdependence between rural and urban areas.
The local show has been a flagship event in the agricultural calendar for decades.
Martina Jameson is the secretary of the annual event.
