Carrickmacross Gardai held a very successful open day yesterday, Sunday.
Special guest included the station's 'Little Blue Hero', Honorary Garda Axel Baldwin.
Other invited guests included the Garda Mounted Unit as well as representatives from the Garda Dog Unit, Armed Support Unit, and the Traffic Corps.
Meanwhile, Alex - who lives in Carrickmacross - was treated to a Station tour with his Garda Buddy Fiona.
Honorary Garda Grace from Ballybay also popped in to say hello and her Garda Buddy James was on hand to show her around.
Both Little Blue Heroes loved the Garda Dog Unit and the whole community joined with them to celebrate their achievements.
Families were also provided with the opportunity to learn more about An Garda Siochana Services available to them locally.
