A Monaghan councillor has offered his support to a motion that would see the roll out of the Able Disabled campaign. According to Cllr Colm Carthy, the campaign is a means of inclusion and prioritising the needs of those with a disability by companies.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Deputy Carthy said he would like to see more focus on this campaign. As a result, Cllr Carthy has called on Monaghan County Council and business owners to engage, promote, and sign up to the AD Aware Programme as part of their corporate social responsibilities:
