A group of motorcyclists from Monaghan are travelling from Mizen Head to Malin Head in one day on Honda Steptrue Bikes on Saturday the 8th of July.
The challenge is in Aid of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust which local man Gerry McQuillan described as a "great cause that helps so many people."
In addition this, members of the Monaghan Honda 50 Club are having an information stand this Saturday in Monaghan shopping centre in relation to the event.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Gerry revealed that the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust is close to the hearts of many, including himself following the death of a friend in Australia.
The Monaghan native encouraged locals to turn out in their droves, to support this special cause. "It would be greatly appreciated if people could show us their support," explained Gerry. "We have set up an iDonate page under Honda Steptrues Bike Run and any donation big or small will do a lot for this charity."
